Hi everybody, last week I introduced you to E Portfolio. This week, I am exploring a new social network tool which I am interested in. That is WhatsApp. The URL of the tool is https://www.whatsapp.com/.
WhatsApp is a free tool application for everyone to stay in touch with friends and family, anywhere and anytime. WhatsApp supports safe and trust messaging and calling all over the world. However, you have to have Internet and a smart phone for working it.
First of all, I created an account by supporting my phone number; and then, I activated it by verifying an access code. After that, WhatsApp window opens with a contact list. Next, it showed me how to use it step by step.
The reason I selected WhatsApp is that it is so popular in Apple store and I have not used it before.
The tool is quite easy to use. If I compare between WhatsApp and Messages in iPhone, it is too similar to adapt the new way of communication.
Until now, there are more than one billion people in over 180 countries using WhatsApp. They interact it so well. It supports sending and receiving a plenty of media: text, photos, videos, files, location, and voicemail calls.
I might use the Social Network tool for personal reasons. I keep in touch with my friends and family.
I should protect my private information, so I do not want the social network reveal myself to other people.
The privacy is the most significant thing I should care while using the social media.
